DYNAMICS OF BIOCHEMICAL PARAMETERS OF BLOOD IN NEWBORN CALVES AT THE FIRST WEEK OF THEIR LIFE

M.I. Retskii, S.V. Shabunin, A.I. Zolotarev, G.N. Bliznetsova, D.B. Chusov

In calves of the Red-and White breed the authors studied the age dynamics of biochemical parameters of blood during first week of their life. It was established, that at the this period many biochemical indices of blood alter profoundly and rapidly. Intake the first portions of a colostrum, the age and the functional ripeness of organs and systems play the important role in achievement of a homeostasis at the first o'clock of life of neonatal calves.

Key words: calves, newborn, adaptation, blood, metabolites, enzyme.
