RATIONAL USE OF GENETIC RESOURCES AND HYBRIDIZATION IN GOAT BREEDING

The monitoring of the goat number and productivity in the Russia and on a global scale was made. The current zoological and economic goat classifications were described. The authors consider the problems of the wild species use as reserve of goat breeding in the Russia with the aid of their domestication and hybridization with Capra hircus. The hybrids between domestic goat and Siberian ibex were received and their biological features were studied.
