PLANT DEVELOPMENT, FLOWER BUD DIFFERENTIATION AND YIELD OF SHORT-DAY STRAWBERRY VARIETIES DEPENDING ON TEMPERATURE

The author has been estimating the effect of spring frosts on main yield components in a set of strawberry varieties and lines in current year, and, also, the effect of average month temperature and sums of effective temperatures above 5 °C during spring period (April, May), period of flower bud differentiation (from August to the end of vegetation) and whole vegetative period on plant development, flower initiation and next-year productivity.
